Thin client in other words we can say server based computing because it providing server support to another computer located to any other location. The thin clients compared as less costly as compare to pcs but on the other hand the real implementation of cloud-based computing model with software and server could be expensive. The idea of replacing workstations features included with thin clients by dell. With the feature of dell and Hp thin client also considered as point to sale terminals. In other words where a pc requires a hard drive, display, and a set of software applications, a thin client decreases these requirements by providing the features of display-only terminals. In this way there is no need of hard drive, display and store any data.
